(a) Catoptica Pty Ltd respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application (“the App”).
(b) “Personal information” means information or an opinion about an identifiable individual. The App is designed to function without requiring an account login, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or contact details through the App.
2. CATOPTICA COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
2.1. Data Collection and Privacy
(a) Firebase Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability and diagnose issues. Crashlytics automatically collects:
device model
operating system version
crash reports and stack traces
whether the app was backgrounded
anonymised crash identifiers
This information in anonymous and does not identify individual users.
(b) RevenueCat (Subscription Management): We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscription purchases. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous app user ID to your device to validate subscription status. This identifier is not linked to any personal identity and cannot identify you.
(c) Advertising (Google AdMob): The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:
device identifiers
coarse location (e.g., region)
IP address
usage data
ad interaction information

(d) Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage patterns. Analytics data is anonymous and not linked to your identity.
(e) No access to sensitive device data: The App does not access your camera, microphone, stored media, photos, or contacts. The App only uses the device speaker to play sound.
(f) No cookies or web-based tracking: The App does not use cookies. No tracking occurs beyond what is required for subscriptions, analytics, and advertising as described above.
(g) Parental Lock PIN: If you enable the parental lock feature, the PIN is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared.
2.2. Opt out right
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it through your mobile device’s standard uninstall process. All locally stored settings (including parental lock) will be deleted when the App is removed.
2.3. When you use our Application
When you download or use the App, certain non-personal information may be collected automatically, such as:
mobile device ID
IP address
device type
operating system
general usage statistics
This data is processed securely within the infrastructure of the app distributor (Apple App Store / Google Play Store), Firebase, or RevenueCat.
All data is used only in aggregate and cannot identify individual users.

The App itself does not collect personal identifiers.
