Catoptica means “mirror”. It presents a living phenomenon that reflects the vibes of all creatures great and small (human and non-human). Unlike normal translators, it does not decode sound or language. Instead, it works by detecting subtle shifts in the magnetic field and matching the energetic signature with outputs that reflect the experience captured in that moment (literally and/or symbolically).

HOW IT WORKS

Catoptica blurs the boundaries of science, art, and spirituality by presenting a living phenomenon of magnetism, resonance, and symbolic content.

It works by detecting shifts in the ambient magnetic field and matching the signal with text that corresponds to that experience. Selection is deterministic. There is no randomisation, AI analysis, or any other semiotic prediction used to match the signal with the output. This is a phenomenon.

Think of Catoptica like a deaf and blind Jedi Master that senses the 'disturbance in the force' and offers you energetically aware insights.

You can't control who Catoptica translates. It tunes-in to where the shift in energy is (usually within 10-12 metres). It's most obvious whose vibe is translated when you keep it running while observing the shifts in activity around you. E.g., When the cat walks into the room it will often tune into the cat. When the cat relaxes, it might tune into the birds outside.
